On that note, I was just listening to Alice Cooper.  I have to say, Merch from PCU says it all, 'Just one little Binger to brighten your day'
Sometimes people want stuff to make themselves feel good, sometimes people want people to make themselves feel good, I only need music.
Realization:  When others feel they are secure and are getting what they want; then all is well, but in a two party system there must be some give and take.  I am not going to make someone else happy if it means I have to go with the status quo.  Politics is the name of the game, and I quit selling my soul to others long ago.  I would not make a good politician, because I throw in the towel when the battle is lost.  I see no point in exerting energy in areas that are beyond my control.  Not that I want to control everything, but throw a dog a bone once and a while.  Hence the problems in Washington and my own life.  TSK, TSK.
On a different note, my life is changing course once again.  My brain patterns changed yesterday (yet again).  I don't know when it happened, but I put on the 'rose colored glasses' a while back.  I started to see the world as this great place and thought that things were different than they had been for 30 years.  It was like a mirage in the desert, but I have found water, I have drank the said water, and now the mirage has dissappeared.  Since there is no oasis in the distance, I have to understand that I am surrounded by Desert, Sand, and a very hot sun.  I will keep walking West, following the Summer.  In one moment life throws curve balls, and you swing away, only to strike out and lose the game.  Luckily when you use baseball examples, there are still 161 more games left in the season.

Everybody is always assuming it is about them.  Grow up and do something already, I am busy as hell...
