Funny Story about Go Betty Go, a band I saw... May 25th, 2007

So Jaybird and I were at some show where these beautiful ladies were the opening band.  Anyways, after the show at The Metro, we took our happy asses downstairs to the merch room and we were checking out some shit, and this girl handed me a Go Betty Go c.d. from behind the counter.  I looked at it and said, "It's not my cup of tea."  I passed the c.d. to Jason who gladly took it, since he takes anything that is free.  Anyway, so I put on the charm and started hitting on the c.d. girl.  She was hot, and I was pumped from the show.  Anyway, long story short, the girl's name was Aixa.  Otherwise known as the drummer in Go Betty Go.  Her and her sister (vox) enjoy making music, little did I know that she was the drummer, and Jason yells out "You are such a dumbass"  Now, everyone standing there knew full well that I just trashed her band, and now I was trying to get her number.  Well, I succeeded anyways, even though she is from L.A.  We talked through emails for a couple of months and you know me, fame is nothing, I never think anyone famous is better than me nor I of them, but anyways, I was listening another Internet station and this song came on, so I shot over to myspace and put it up on my profile.  Your Worst Enemy...Yes I am...I can fit my size 12 foot in my mouth without even having to open wide.  I have it done it so much in my life that I don't even need a shoe horn.  Aixa, Vegetarian, drummer, L.A., yeah I was diggin that.  Tsk tsk, another girl I let get away because of my brutal honesty.  Like I said that night, it's not my cup of tea but they got a good sound, just not what I personally like.  But if they stick with it, they will make it.  Plus I heard one of their songs on a commercial station last year.  So they are still doing it.  Aixa, I think about you all the time, (tear)   lol....

Great story, oh and don't ever take Jason out with you if you are trying to hook up with a lady, he is really good at cockblocking even though that is supposed to be the girl's friends job, Jason somehow manages to fuck up a perfect thing.  How???  I have no clue, let's just say all that glue he used years ago to hold up his mohawks must have leaked through his scalp...
