I graduated from my College today. It was not an actual graduation ceremony. That will not take place until May since I finished my curriculum in the fall semester. However, I passed all my remaining classes to receive my degree. That to me, is graduating. On top of all that, I finished out my most arduous semester yet with all 'A's. I took 16 credit hours this semester, which was the most I had taken in the past 2 1/2 years. I finished out with an overall GPA of 3.61 for the 64 credit hours I accumulated. So I am the first in my family to get a college degree. Others have tried but found Manual Labor to be more financially prominent. Little did anyone in my family know that after 25 years of digging a ditch, your body deteriorates. I; however; will be making the exact same wage as they do, but I will make it within 2 or 3 years instead of 25. Also, my body will not sustain any damage from said work. So, I took three exams today and aced them all. I am still amazed at my potential, and the best part is I didn't study for any of the classes except Acting I. I had to do the work in that one because it was hands on work. The other classes I just showed up for the lectures and listened. I didn't even buy books in two of them. The last time I tried that I got a 'C' in Economics. The only 'C' grade in the 2 1/2 years actually. But I figured what do I have to lose. And it turned out to be the smartest money not spent. Those damn books would have run me another 200 bux. Anyway, I am going to take Northeastern seriously. I only gave 50 % most of the time at Triton. So imagine what I can do if I gave it my all. We shall see. I would love to finish with honors at Northeastern. I think my Masters Degree gets paid for if I finish in the top 5% of my class.
Well, that was my day, and on Thursday at 8PM I am on vacation until January 3rd. So, life is good on my end, I hope it is on yours too.
