Today is a good day Nov. 1st, 2006

So, I haven't written in a few days, and I got to say that the past few days have been great.  A mini vacation of sorts.  I still had work and a few classes but otherwise it was vacation by my standards.  I had a presentation due today in one of my classes.  I had three other people who part of the group.  But again, I initiated the project; we did it a couple of weeks before we were supposed too.  But I didn't want to wait until Thanksgiving to get it over with.  I picked my partners weeks ago; I told them I am a go getter; so just do some research on their own and it will work out.  Well, the professors wanted the groups to get together and work on it; which we didn't.  I am a clutch player, and today when I saw my partners show up on time; for once; I was smiling.  We got up in front of the class, I pulled up the powerpoint I had been working on; and then my alter ego (the salesman) took over.  It was so smooth; and the parts I didn't research; bam; my partners picked up the slack.  I obviously did something right by picking the other three people.  They did not disappoint me; and it was a great presentation considering none of us actually got together to do it.  We winged it; and there is no doubt in my mind we got an A.  I am very pleased; I knew I could have done it by myself if necessary but it was nice to see the others actually did some research on their own.  We actually spoke for almost 40 minutes.  Longer than I had expected.  Tons of information, and I think we did exactly what we were required to do.  It is amazing how I live my life.  I sometimes surprise myself.  Well, rehearsals start tonight for Buried Child; so my mini vacation is over.  But I am not disappointed; I am glad to be part of another production; more work for the acting resume is always a plus.  My life is together today; as for tomorrow who knows; but today I am riding the magic carpet and it is good...
