2 Things May 23rd, 2008

First, my sister is having surgery today.  Any prayers and thoughts would be appreciated.  This is pretty serious stuff!!!

Second, I am sick.  I get a serious head cold every 3 or 4 years.  The kind of cold that lasts for 2 to 3 weeks.  I remember back in 1994, it lasted for 6 weeks.  Hopefully not this year.  I do not want to be sick that long.  It is a severe cold, where my nasal cavity fills with mucous, and my head builds up pressure until I just want to chop it off.  I still rehearsed last night with a scarf over my mouth and a pair of gloves on, this way I can't be responsible for any of my fellow actors getting sick on a holiday weekend.  Anyway, hopefully this doesn't last very long.  We open in 2 weeks.  I broke down and bought some Tylenol Severe Cold medicine.  I am against over the counter stuff, but after the headaches over last weekend, and this, I just can't afford for this to go on very long!

So two things...And they both suck!
