I have a few minutes Oct. 14th, 2008

Well rehearsals started for Elektra.  It seems like it will be a good show.  I am a bit out of practice even though I did that show over the summer.  Oh well, I will get in the swing of things.  My mind is already wandering towards my road trip and upcoming Grad School move.  Other than, I am just chilling out and enjoying life.  I have come to realize that the opposite sex is about as crazy as I am.  And here this whole time I thought I was unique with my psychosis.  I finally did buy my car, that was a few weeks ago, but I didn't put it up here yet I don't think.  It is a good car, 80K in miles, 94 Olds 88, and I got it for a steal of a price; 750 bux.  Oh yeah, the thing is worth about $3K.  Anyway that will be the road trip car.  Also I just booked a flight to Tunica, MS.  I will be leaving for a few days in November to celebrate my birthday.  I will be staying at the casino, but my main trip will include Memphis.  I haven't been there in about 10 years, and my road trip doesn't include that part of the States, so I figured I could knock it out now...I think I will be heading to D.C. first to meet with Senator Durbin and Obama (if Obama is there) for their weekly breakfast meeting on Tuesday.  It is an open forum for their constituents, and I have been invited to attend by Senator Durbin himself.  It was a rather lengthy conversation we had about 2 months ago, but now that I can actually get away from Chicago for a few weeks, I figured I would take him up on his offer.  Long story, that I will not talk about at this time...I have mid-terms this week.  I am not mentally in school anymore.  I feel like a drone just going through the motions...Alright well that is all, my spirits are good, my mind is crisp and clear, and I think everything is falling into place nicely at this time...So I will wait for the hurricane to throw everything off, since nothing good can last forever.
