Tired and Sore June 1st, 2008

I have been running around like a madman.  Or a chicken with its head cut-off.  My show opens this Thursday.  It has been a whirlwind of a weekend.  Running here, running there, and in between playing cards.  Yeah, playing cards!  I played against some of the players from the Sunday game that I am NOT invited back too.  Those I did see last night, cracked a few jokes, which is expected, but those are the guys that are not part of my last blog.  Guys who do NOT wear their emotions on their sleeves.  The ones that do, didn't show up to the game.  Of course, I said it a few times this week to Marty, that I am surrounded by kids!  Yes, Kids!  These select few individuals need a lesson in life.  It is not sunshine and roses.  It may seem like it at the moment because they still live under their parents' roofs.   When that day comes when those little birdies have to leave the nest and feel what life really has to offer them, I hope they have their eyes open.

Moving on, so my show opens on Thursday.  Come out and see me perform on stage yet again!  I like the show, it has a great cast, and I believe it will be a great show.  As for life in general, I only can do what I can do. 

On a different note, they are filming a movie on my street starting today thru Tuesday.  I think it is the Johnny Depp film, which is being shot around town.  Anyway, they will be here from 6 AM - 6 PM today, tomorrow, and Tuesday.  I was thinking of hanging around the set, but I am not going to get anywhere that way.  I know the only way to get cast is to show up for the auditions.  Meeting those on the set without a proper introduction is not going to get me anywhere.  So I might take a stroll to see what they are up to, but other than that I will just be a faceless shadow in the backdrop of life (as usual).
